Why is (n-1)(n+1)=n^2-1?

The basic answer is that you cross-multiply the values in each factor:

xxx

xxxx

Have you ever lied to your family? What were the circumstances?

xxx

xx

(n - 1)(n + 1)

Why do so many men on the internet try to compete with women, or try to "humble" and bash them? There's so many videos across my tiktok and YouTube of men claiming how they're wanting to get back at women and put them in thier place.

xxx x

So, that’s a rectangle with sides 2 and 4.

If you cut off the end of that rectangle, you make it smaller, 2 * 3 and a separate nub of size 1 * 2

How do military families handle communication when a service member is injured overseas?

Move the nub up to the top:

xxx x

n^2 - n + n - 1

Why do you write?

xxxx

The more direct answer is to look at a rectangle with sides of n + 1 and n - 1, let’s go with n = 2

And you are left with almost a square. One less than the square of side n.

How will the 2026 delimitation affect India as a whole keeping the new count of 888 seats in mind (not the current 543)? I’m looking for genuine answers with facts and not rhetoric. I will only listen to answers and not reply to any of them.

n^2 - 1
